Setting Up Plan-Related Contacts

You can use the Tx contacts button to create a treatment plan-related patient contact. For example, if you present the plan and the patient wants to wait until a particular date has passed before starting treatment, you can record this information, and the re-contact date.

This feature is a shortcut to the Unscheduled Treatment Plan Contact Expert. The Contact Expert searches for proposed treatment plans that are not scheduled so you can contact the patient and schedule them. You can also add comments here. To enter new contact information:

In the Tx Plan window, click Tx contacts. The Tx plan related contacts window opens, displaying a list of all contacts related to this plan.
Click New Contact. The New Contact Entry window is displayed.
Select a Contact type from the drop-down list.
Enter a re-contact date.
Type any additional information in the Comments area, and click OK.
