Using the Pharmacy Pick List

PracticeWorks now stores a list of pharmacies used by your practice and your patients. You can designate a patient’s preferred pharmacy on the Clipboard for use when calling in prescriptions. You can store the pharmacy’s name, address, contact information, and notes.

Select Lists > Pharmacies to display the Pharmacy List window.

This list is also accessible from Page 2 of the patient’s Clipboard, where you can select the pharmacy the patient prefers when having prescriptions called in. For more information, see Patient’s Preferred Pharmacy and Calling In Prescriptions.

Editing Pharmacy Information

You can edit or add to the information stored for a pharmacy by selecting it from the pick list and clicking Edit. The existing data for that pharmacy is displayed in the Pharmacy Definition window. Make the changes and click OK.
