Getting Started > Setting Up Easy Pay
Install the Easy Pay server on one computer that has a modem, and the Easy Pay workstation on any computer that will process credit card payments or create and process Easy Pay consents.
The Easy Pay server must be installed on a computer that has a modem physically installed in or attached to it; it cannot be available on the server only through a modem-sharing device. The Easy Pay server does not have to be installed on your PracticeWorks data server, however.
To install PracticeWorks Easy Pay, insert the PracticeWorks DVD-ROM and click PracticeWorks Easy Pay.
After the Easy Pay Server has been installed, run the Easy Pay Workstation installation program on each workstation on which you want to use Easy Pay. The installation program is in \\PWORKS\Data\EasyPay\ESETUP\SETUP.EXE.
To specify the producer to which all Easy Pay payments are credited:
Make sure that no computer in your office is running PracticeWorks .
From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > CS PracticeWorks > Configuration of CS PracticeWorks. The configuration utility is displayed.
From the Setup menu, select VISA Easy Pay. The Easy Pay Setup window is displayed.
Use the drop-down list to select the producer to whom the Easy Pay transactions are posted. This is usually the main doctor or the facility.
Make sure that the Easy Pay Is Active? option is selected.
Click OK.
