Using Easy Pay to Accept Payments

The Easy Pay software links with PracticeWorks to make accepting credit card payments an integral part of the ledger system. By using Easy Pay, you can process credit cards from PracticeWorks and make the ledger entries automatically. Easy Pay also processes recurring payments when you set up a schedule for credit card charges to post automatically over time.

Easy Pay maintains consents, which are commitments by patients to pay up to a certain amount on their credit cards. When services are rendered, you can create a consent for the total cost of the service. After the insurance company has paid its portion, you can use the consent to charge the outstanding balance. Since the consent is created at the time of service, your office has pre-approval to charge the credit card for the balance due after insurance has paid.
