You must complete the server installation before installing OrthoTrac on a workstation.
Before installing OrthoTrac on the workstation, log in as a user with full administrative rights.
To upgrade OrthoTrac on a workstation:
Verify that the server is running.
If you use a terminal server configuration and you are updating the terminal server, perform these steps from the terminal server console rather than from within a client session.
Start the workstation.
Alert all users to refrain from using OrthoTrac until the installation is complete on every computer in your network.
Open OrthoTrac. A message is displayed, alerting you that a new version exists on the server and asking if you want to install it.
Click Yes. OrthoTrac, version 15.X, is installed on the workstation.
After the installation is complete, you might be prompted to restart your computer. Click OK. If you are not prompted to restart your computer, OrthoTrac opens automatically.
Install OrthoTrac on all workstations before accessing the software.
Repeat these steps to update OrthoTrac on each computer in your network.
