The Call List displays the contact status of scheduled patients.
To view Call List data for a specific location, select the left or right arrow. To access a list of locations, select the name of the office. To return to the list of patients, select Call List.
The Call List window displays the following message types:
This icon indicates that the staff member received no answer when trying to call the patient.
This icon indicates that the staff member received a busy signal when trying to call the patient.
This icon indicates that the staff member left a message on an answering machine when trying to call the patient.
This icon indicates that the staff member spoke with the patient regarding their appointment.
You can type additional notes for each message type.
Select the patient's name to view the following details about the appointment:
Appointment date, time, and associated comments
Home telephone number
Patient age in years and months
Patient gender
Appointment type
Length of the appointment
Scheduling status
Procedures associated with the appointment
Call history of attempts to reach the patient
To configure settings for the Call List:
Select the Options icon. The Settings window is displayed.
Select one of the following options to configure:
Select one of the following time ranges:
Today Only
Today and 1 Day Back
Today and 2 Days Back
Today and 3 Days Back
Today and 4 Days Back
Today and 5 Days Back
To return to the Settings window, select Settings.
Filter by Appt TypeFilter by Appt Type
To filter the Call List by appointment type, select On. To view all appointment types, select Off.
To change the types of appointments displayed when the filter is active, select Edit Appt Types.

Use this option to select the appointment types that are displayed when the Filter by Appt Type option is active.
To enable specific appointment types:
Select Edit Appt Types. A list of all available appointment types is displayed.
Select an appointment type. The icon to the left of the appointment type changes to a blue dot enclosing a checkmark.
To exclude a selected appointment
type from the filter list, select the appointment type again.
The icon to the left of the appointment type changes to a
plain blue dot.
To return to the Settings window, select Settings.
Filter by ProcedureFilter by Procedure
To filter the Call List by procedure, select On. To view all appointment types, select Off.
To change the types of procedures displayed when the filter is active, select Edit Procedures.

Use this option to select the procedures that are displayed when the Filter by Procedure option is active.
To enable specific procedures:
Select Edit Procedures. A list of all available procedures is displayed.
Select a procedure. The icon to the left of the procedure changes to a checkmark.
To exclude a selected procedure
from the filter list, select the procedure again. The icon
to the left of the procedure changes to a blue dot.
To return to the list of patients, select Call List.
When you add a call in the PEARL module, it creates entries in OrthoTrac in Patient Tracking and Tx Card, and adds the call information to the Confirm Appointment window.
To activate the Call History in Patient Tracking:
From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Patient Chart > Patient Tracking. The OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window is displayed.
Select a patient and click OK. The Patient Tracking view of the Chart window is displayed.
Click Options. The Patient Tracking Options window is displayed.
Select Call History.
Click OK. The Patient Tracking Options window is displayed.
Click OK. The Patient Tracking view of the Chart window is displayed.
Click Close.
To activate the call history in charting:
From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Charting Maintenance. The Charting Maintenance window is displayed.
Select Display Call History.
Click OK.
To view a comment associated with a patient:
From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Patient Chart > Open Chart. The OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window is displayed.
Double-click a patient. The Chart window is displayed.
Click Schedule Appt. The Scheduled Appointments view of the Chart window is displayed.
View the Comments field and click Close.
The comment is accessible on the current day. Once the appointment is completed, the information becomes inaccessible.
