Viewing the Call List

The Call List displays the contact status of scheduled patients.

To view Call List data for a specific location, select the left or right arrow. To access a list of locations, select the name of the office. To return to the list of patients, select Call List.

The Call List window displays the following message types:

Select the patient's name to view the following details about the appointment:

To configure settings for the Call List:

  1. Select the Options icon. The Settings window is displayed.

  2. Select one of the following options to configure:

  3. Show

  4. Filter by Appt Type

  5. Edit Appt Types

  6. Filter by Procedure

  7. Edit Procedures

Patient Tracking

When you add a call in the PEARL module, it creates entries in OrthoTrac in Patient Tracking and Tx Card, and adds the call information to the Confirm Appointment window.

To activate the Call History in Patient Tracking:

  1. From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Patient Chart > Patient Tracking. The OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window is displayed.

  2. Select a patient and click OK. The Patient Tracking view of the Chart window is displayed.

  3. Click Options. The Patient Tracking Options window is displayed.

  4. Select Call History.

  5. Click OK. The Patient Tracking Options window is displayed.

  6. Click OK. The Patient Tracking view of the Chart window is displayed.

  7. Click Close.

To activate the call history in charting:

  1. From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Charting Maintenance. The Charting Maintenance window is displayed.

  2. Select Display Call History.

  3. Click OK.

To view a comment associated with a patient:

  1. From the main menu in OrthoTrac, select Functions > Patient Chart > Open Chart. The OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window is displayed.

  2. Double-click a patient. The Chart window is displayed.

  3. Click Schedule Appt. The Scheduled Appointments view of the Chart window is displayed.

  4. View the Comments field and click Close.

  5. The comment is accessible on the current day. Once the appointment is completed, the information becomes inaccessible.
