Performing Auxiliary Functions > Using Referral Tracking
The Wilting Referral report shows the decline in patient referrals for a percentage you specify.
To run the Wilting Referral report:
From the main menu, click Referrals. The Referrals window is displayed.
Select Wilting.
In the Referral Source section, accept the default of Outside Doctors to show all doctor types.
OR
Click Select Doctor Type and use the drop-down list in the Doctor Type section to select a specific doctor type.
In the Wilting Referrals section, type a value between 1 and 100 in the Declines Greater Than field to show declining referrals, or type 0 to show all referrals for the month and year selected.
In the Report Dates section, select the month and year from the drop-down lists.
Click OK. The Detail Referral List for Outside Doctors window is displayed.
The report shows all the sources that have declined by the determined percentage for the month and year you specified. The preceding 11 months referral history is also shown. Totals for the month columns are also shown.
The totals shown are the result of 12 months of referrals into the practice. If a selection of a Single Location and/or Single Doctor is made, the totals might not match with the combined locations and/or doctors if changes were made to a patient's location or doctor.
If you entered 0 in the Declines Greater Than field, the window displays Monthly Totals as the description for the totals row.
