Using the OrthoTrac Word Processing Module > Managing OrthoTrac Word Processing Letters > Posting Letters
After posting letters, you can view a list of patients who are due to receive a particular letter, and you can delete a letter posted in error. You can also print/reprint a letter for specific patients on the list.
To view a list of patients due to receive a letter, to delete a letter posted in error, or to print or reprint a letter:
Click the Word Processing button from the main menu. The Word Processing menu is displayed. Select Post and Print Letters.
OR
Click the Word Processing button from the patient chart. The Word Processing menu is displayed. Select Post and Print Letters. The Post and Print Letters window is displayed.
Double-click on the number in the Unprinted column. The Letter: window is displayed.
The list contains the names of all patients/responsible parties due to receive this letter. Select an optionoption.
To print, preview, or email letters for all names on the list, click Select All and click Print Letter. The Print Options window is displayed. Select the appropriate option and click OK.
To deselect all names on the list, click Select None.
To print or reprint this letter for specific names on the list, select the names and click Print Letter. The Print Options window is displayed. Select Print Letter(s) and click OK. The software prints letters for only the selected names.
To delete letters that have been posted in error, select the individual names and click Remove Letter. The Clear Letters window is displayed, asking if you are sure you want to remove the letter. Click Yes.
