Performing Staff and Security Functions > Using the Personal ToDo List
Additional functions and displays are available from the menu bar. The three options on this menu include: File, Edit, and View.
The options from the File menu include: Print and Exit.
The options from the Edit menu include: Add Item, Remove Item, Change Item, Mark as Completed, and Mark as UnCompleted. These options perform the same functions as the corresponding buttons on the ToDo List for User Name window, with the exception of the Mark as UnCompleted option.
To use the Mark as UnCompleted option, select a completed task and then select Edit > Mark as UnCompleted from the Menu Bar. The task becomes active and turns from gray to blue.
The options from the View menu enable you to set up your ToDo List using a combination of views. The default view is:
Tasks/Active Tasks
By Date/ thru Selected Date
Sort by / Date Due and Ascending
By selecting options from the View menu, you can arrange your tasks according to your preferences.
You can organize your view by task to display:
All Tasks
Active Tasks
Completed Tasks
You can organize your view by date to display:
All Dates
thru Selected Date
Selected Date Only
You can sort your task view to display:
Date Due
Description
Priority
Ascending
The selections you make in the View menu are for the current session only. When you close the ToDo List and reopen it, the default settings are reset.
