Manually Running the Financial Roll

The automated financial roll operates outside of OrthoTrac, usually after business hours. As such, the roll might fail to run due to external factors.

Reasons the auto-roll might not run:

To run the roll manually:

  1. From the Functions menu, select Roll Options. The Roll Options pane is displayed.

  2. In the Late Charges section, type the minimum dollar amount for which to charge a late fee in the Minimum Dollar Amount field.

  3. In the Contracts section, click the calendar to select a date for the This roll should process contract changes thru field.

  4. Click OK. The Print Options window is displayed.

  5. If there are unposted auto-payments, the Post Auto-Payments window is displayed. Select options and click OK.

  1. Select print options and click OK. The Financial Roll window is displayed, advising you that running the roll will apply contract charges and late charges to patient accounts and age the balance.

  1. Click Yes. The Financial Roll window is displayed, advising you to perform a daily backup before running the roll.

  2. After running a daily backup, click Yes. A message is displayed, indicating that the system is preparing the database.

When the database preparation is complete, the Roll Report Options window is displayed.

  1. Select the information to be included on the Roll Report, and click OK.

  2. Select print options and click OK.
