Working with Reports > Creating Financial Reports > Running the Financial Roll
You can configure the Windows operating system to run the financial roll automatically as a scheduled task. External documentation explaining this process is available on the Microsoft Support website.
OrthoTrac supports multiple financial rolls. You can charge, age, and create a separate late charge only roll each month. For more information, see Running the Financial Roll.
To configure prompts in OrthoTrac for automated roll notifications:
Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Staff Maintenance from the menu bar. The OrthoTrac Staff Lookup window is displayed.
Select a staff member and click Change. The Staff Maintenance window is displayed.
Click Options. The Staff Options window is displayed.
Select Prompt to print Roll Report following Scheduled Roll.
Click OK.
After configuring a staff member's options to receive automated roll notifications, OrthoTrac displays the Scheduled Roll message each time an automated roll is run.
If the roll was successful, the staff member can print the Roll report. If the roll was not successful, the message advises the staff member to contact the practice's software support provider for assistance.
