Exporting Treatment Plan Templates

Before exporting treatment plan templates:

Create an empty folder to export the data into before starting the export program.
Open OrthoTrac and select the data set you want to export; the export program defaults to the current data set in the oms.ini.
Ensure that your treatment plans are correct and in order.
If you are sharing treatment plans with another doctor, you might want to provide a print-out of the treatment plans for the doctor. For more information, see Printing Multiple Treatment Plan Templates.

Do not export more than one data set into the same export database.

To export treatment plan templates:

From the Windows taskbar, select Start > Run and type uplanexp.
Click OK. The Export Treatment Plan Templates window is displayed.
Select the path to the folder where you want to export the treatment plan template file (PlanExp.mdb) and the letters folder (TXDOCS).
In the Available Treatment Plan Templates section, all plans are selected by default. Click on the options to deselect the templates you do not want to export.

Tip:Tip:If you have many templates and want to export only a few, click the Unselect All button and then click the options for the templates you want to export.

Click OK. A message is displayed when the export is complete.

If you have exported treatment plan templates previously and did not remove them from the folder, the software prompts you, asking if you want to add treatment plans to this export file or delete this export file and create a new export file.

Click OK.
