OrthoTrac Collections Module -- Terminology and Concepts

Familiarize yourself with the following terms and concepts you encounter when using the collections module:

• PromisePromise

  The reason a responsible party has not made a payment, and the date the responsible party promised to make the payment.

• Open PromiseOpen Promise

  A promise that has not been met.

• Paid PromisePaid Promise

  A promise that has been paid.

• Changed PromiseChanged Promise

  An existing promise that was changed.

• Deleted PromiseDeleted Promise

  A promise that has been deleted but which can still be viewed. A deleted promise cannot be changed or paid.
