Changing and Removing Promises

To make changes to a promise or to delete a promise:

  1. In the Collections Activity window, click on the responsible party and patient, if more than one patient is connected to the responsible party, in the Responsible Party field. Any promises made by the responsible party are displayed in the promise grid.

  2. Double-click the promise you want to change or delete, or select the promise and press Enter. Change the data for the promise and click Change or click Remove to delete the promise.

  3. You can change or delete previously changed promises; however, the system displays a warning message before you can complete this.

  1. Click Close to close the Collections Activity window.

  2. When you are finished working with an account, click the box to the left of the responsible party's name to enter a checkmark in the box and remove the name from the list.

When accessing the collections module from the main menu, if Include Accounts Contacted since last Roll is not checked, this account is not displayed again until after you run the next financial roll — presumably when another promise/amount would be due.
