Changing a Claim

To make changes to a claim:

  1. Select Functions > Patient Chart > Claims from the menu bar. The OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window is displayed.

  2. Select a patient and click OK. The Claims view of the Financial Functions window is displayed.

  3. If there is more than one claim in the window, select the claim you want to edit and click Change. The Editing Claim Form for <Name> is displayed. At the lower-right of the window, the type of claim is displayed.

  4. If no claims exist, you can click Add New to add a new claim.

  1. Use the scroll bar to view the entire form, and select the fields in which you need to change information.

  2. When you are finished updating the form, click Close and click OK to finish the claim and close the window.
