Using the Tools in the Tool Box
Use the following tools to annotate images:
Text—Enables you to add words to an image.
Pointer—Enables you to draw arrows on an image.
Rectangle—Enables you to draw a rectangle around an area in an image.
Ellipse—Enables you to draw an ellipse or circle around an area in an image.
Polygon—Enables you to draw a polygon around an area in an image.
Line—Enables you to draw straight lines on an image.
Freehand—Enables you to draw irregular lines on an image.
All of the annotation tools can be used in combination with each other. You can hide the annotations and display them again later. You can change the properties of the annotation tools—line thickness, font size, colors, and so on—with the Annotation Properties toolbar.
