Managing Objects > Viewing and Printing Objects
As of version 11.11, 3D objects in the Table of Contents are displayed in the 3D Preview.
The 3D Preview is not available in hosted environments.
The caption bar of the 3D viewer displays the time and date of the acquisition. If the volume is an extraoral 3D capture, the caption bar also displays an exclamation point icon. Click the icon to view a message informing you that this 3D object is displayed for patient communication only, and that you must use an external 3D viewer for diagnostic purposes. Click OK to close the message window.
To toggle between 3D and 2D views, click 3D or 2D in the 3D Preview window. You can view slices in the 3D Preview window by using the mouse wheel to scroll.
You can also use 3D Preview on multiple monitors. For more information, see Using Multiple Monitors. To exit the 3D Preview full screen view, right-click and select Exit Full Screen, or press the Esc key.
Double-click the 3D Preview window to launch the default imaging application.
