Enabling and Disabling 3D Preview

Certain 3D Preview functions require OpenGL 3.3. If a workstation is running an older version of OpenGL, a message informs you that the 3D Preview cannot be displayed because the installed video hardware does not support 3D Preview. The message also advises you to check the system requirements to make sure the correct hardware and the latest software is installed on this PC. You can select Check here to disable the 3D Preview and click OK to prevent this message from displaying again.

You can also disable 3D Preview in the Preferences window under the 3D Display tab.

To disable 3D Preview:

  1. Click Preferences Button. The CS OMS Imaging Preferences window is displayed.

  2. Click the 3D Display tab.

  3. Deselect Enable 3D Preview.

  4. Click OK. A message is displayed, informing you that you must restart the CS OMS Imaging software.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Restart the imaging software.

  7. After disabling this feature, only the 3D icon is displayed in the 3D Preview window.

To enable 3D Preview:

  1. Click Preferences Button. The CS OMS Imaging Preferences window is displayed.

  2. Click the 3D Display tab.

  3. Select Enable 3D Preview.

  4. Click OK. A message is displayed, informing you that you must restart the CS OMS Imaging software.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Restart the imaging software.
