Managing Objects > Viewing and Printing Objects > Using 3D Preview
A display delay can occur when opening large volumes in 3D Preview. A progress bar shows that the volume is still in the process of loading.
Default settings are usually optimal, but you can customize options in the Preferences window to adjust rendering speed and quality.
To configure 3D Preview rendering:
Click . The
CS
OMS Imaging Preferences window is displayed.
Click the 3D Display tab.
In the Display Options section, select one of the following:
Deselect Shading.
Turning off shading will render images without shadows in 3D Preview.
From the Desired rendering technique drop-down list, select one of the following:
Click OK. A message is displayed, informing you that you must restart the CS OMS Imaging software.
Click OK.
Restart the imaging software.
