Setting Annotations Preferences

Use the Annotations tab to set the default colors and font styles when using the Annotations toolbar.

To access these preferences, click , and click the Annotations tab.

The options available on the Annotations tab are:

• Font Color:Specify the default font color for the annotation tools.

• Font Name:Specify the default font for the annotation tools.

• Font Size:Specify the default font size for the annotation tools.

• Line Color:Specify the default line color for the annotation tools.

• Line Style:Specify the default line style for the annotation tools.

• Line Width:Specify the default line width for the annotation tools.

• Fill Color:Specify the default fill color for the annotation tools.

• Fill Pattern:Specify the default fill pattern for the annotation tools.

• Highlight Color:Specify the default color for the Highlight tool.

• Calibration Distance:Select the distance used by the Calibrate tool.
  
  If you prefer to manually enter the calibration distance when using the Calibrate tool, select Ask.

• Calibration Units:Select the measurement units to use when calibrating an image.

• Measuring Units:Select the measurement units for the Ruler.

• Precision:Select the precision of the Ruler and Protractor tools.

• Magnify Size:Select the zoom size of the Magnifying Glass tool.

• Magnify Shape:Select the shape of the Magnifying Glass tool.

• Number of Undos:Select the number of actions you can undo.

• Open Toolbox Automatically:Select this option to open the toolbox automatically.
