Using the Annotations Toolbar

To display the Annotations toolbar, click Annotations' Properties Button on the main toolbar.

To change the properties of existing objects:

Click the icon for the description of the Annotations Properties buttons.

 

Font Properties Button

Opens the Font window, enabling you to select properties for text.

Bold Button

Applies the bold font style to text.

Italic Button

Applies the italic font style to text.

Underline Button

Applies the underline font style to text.

Increase Font Button

Increases the font size of the text by one point.

Decrease Font Button

Decreases the font size of the text by one point.

Font Color Button

Opens the Color window, enabling you to apply a color to text.

Highlight Color Button

Opens the Color window, enabling you to select the color used by the Highlight tool.

Fill Color Button

Opens the Color window, enabling you to select the fill color used by the Rectangle and Ellipse tools. This button is unavailable when the fill mode is set to Transparent.

Fill Pattern Button

Select the fill pattern used by the Rectangle and Ellipse tools. This button is unavailable when the fill mode is set to Transparent.

Fill Mode Button

Selects the fill mode used by the Rectangle and Ellipse tools. Fill mode options are Transparent, Opaque, or Translucent.

Line Width Button

Specifies the line width used by Line and Object tools.

Line Style Button

Specifies the line style used by Line and Object tools. This button is available only when the line width is 1 point.

Line Color Button

Opens the Color window, enabling you to select the line color used by line and object tools.
