Ideal Profile Analyses
The Sarver Ideal Profile analysis measures various proportions on a right profile, non-smiling photo of the patient.
The image will not need be calibrated because all measurements are relative to one another and do not depend on millimeter sizing.
The Sarver module Ideal Profile analyses are as follows:

Anterior Facial PlaneA vertical line of the anterior facial plane on a profile image is displayed.
Note: Line is Analysis Color 1.

Cervicomental AngleThe angle between the inferior chin, reflex point, and the base of the neck is displayed.
Note: Lines are Analysis Color 1.

Facial ConvexityThe smaller angle between the chin to base of nose and the glabella to the base of the nose is displayed.
Note: Glabella line is Analysis Color 2. The chin line is Analysis Color 4.

Labiomental AngleThe angle between the anterior lower lip and the labiomental fold (middle) chin point is displayed.
Note: Lines is Analysis Color 1.

Lip ProjectionLines from the base of the nose to the chin point, from the lower lip to A, from the upper lip to A, and from the upper lip to lower lip are displayed.
The area encompassed by the lines is highlighted.
Note: Line A is Analysis Color 1. Remaining lines are Analysis Color 2. The highlighted area is Analysis Highlight Color 1.

Nasal Projection Alar Plane
The area encompassed by the glabella, base of nose, alar base, and nasal tip is highlighted.
Note: The rectangle is Analysis Color 2. Remaining lines are Analysis Color 1. The highlighted area is Analysis Highlight Color 1.

Nasal Projection Facial PlanA highlighted area encompassing the glabella (starting point) and nasal tip (width) to chin point (for the height) os displayed.
Lines from the glabella to the nasal tip and from the nasal tip to the point where the chin point horizontally intersects the facial plane are displayed.
Note: The highlighted area is Analysis Highlight Color 1. Lines within this area are Analysis Color 2. Remaining lines are Analysis Color 4.

Nasio Facial AngleA highlighted area containing the AFP line and lines from the glabella to the radix and from the radix to the nasal tip is displayed.
Note: The highlighted area is Analysis Highlight Color 1. The AFP line is Analysis Color 4. Remaining lines are Analysis Color 2.

Nasolabial AngleLines from the base of the nose through the nasal tip and from the base of the nose through the upper lip are displayed.

Nasal Tip EvaluationA line through the nose base perp and the base of the nose and from the nose base perp to the nasal tip is displayed

To perform an Ideal Profile Analysis, click Profile Analysis in the Sarver Module Toolbar and select an analysis from the list.
