Entering Landmarks

The Landmark list in the Digitizing/Editing window shows the required and non-required landmarks for the requested function.

Landmark:Landmark: A point entered on an x-ray image or a photo image used for measurements, such as the tip of the upper incisor.

Measurement:Measurement: A mathematical calculation performed upon landmarks, such as the distance between two landmarks or the angle defined by three landmarks.

The different appearances of text in the Landmark list are:

Deselected, bold text:Deselected, bold text: The landmark is required for the function requested.
Selected, bold text:Selected, bold text:The landmark is required and has been digitized.
Selected, non-bold text:Selected, non-bold text: The landmark has been digitized and was not required.
Deselected, non-bold:Deselected, non-bold: The landmark is neither required nor digitized.
High-lighted in blue:High-lighted in blue: The landmark is activated with the next mouse click on the image.
