Setting Preferences > Setting Image Processing Preferences
On the Cephalometric Image Processing Preferences tab, you can configure default settings for cephalometric image acquisitions instead of applying filters to individual images.
To set cephalometric preferences:
Set the following Acquisition settings:
Contrast Mode—Select a contrast mode:
Linear—Displays images without image enhancing filters.
Optimized Contrast—Optimizes contrast and sharpens image detail.
Bone Density—Optimizes contrast for analyzing bone density.
Edges—Optimizes contrast for identifying the edges.
Bone Density Filter Strength—For some panoramic acquisition devices, select a bone density filter strength.
Edges Filter Strength—For some panoramic acquisition devices, select an edge filter strength.
Favorite
selection and customization—Click to configure
and select filter favorites in the CS Adapt Library.
Set the Ceph Image True Size Calibration.
Magnification Factor—Specify a default zoom factor for printing a cephalometric image. Enter 1 for true size.
