Monitor Window

When you tap the Point-of-Care button in the WinOMS window, the Monitor window is displayed. The Monitor window is also displayed when you tap the Monitor button while in another window in the point-of-care module.

The Monitor window shows all patients with scheduled appointments for that day, and provides the following information:

• TimeAppointment time

• AppointmentAppointment type code

• ProviderName of provider scheduled with the patient

• PatientName of the patient

• AgeAge of the patient

• BalanceCurrent balance on this patient’s account

• AlertsMedical history and alerts for the patient

• Elapsed TimeIndicates how long a patient has spent at the current status. This field enables you to view the amount of time certain appointments or procedures can require, and if necessary, you can adjust future scheduling.

• StatusIndicates the path of the appointment. These categories display based on the Appointment Path and Types initially set up within the software for the point-of-care module.
