Printing Optical Tickets

Optical tickets are printed as a batch process, either at the end of the day or at the beginning of the day, for all patients who have appointments. You can also print a single ticket on demand. When printing tickets, you also have the option to print a patient profile and chart.

To batch print optical tickets:

  1. Select Scheduler > Batch Optical Tickets. The Batch Print Tickets window is displayed.

  2. In the Criteria section, select the date for the tickets.

  1. In the Output section, select Optical Ticket Scanning and deselect Patient Profile and Patient Chart.

  2. Click Find Now. The appointments for the day you selected are displayed in the Matching Appointments section.

  3. Click Print.

  4. You can batch-print tickets for new walk-in patients; however, you must convert them to real patients before you scan their tickets.

To print a ticket on demand:

  1. In the Optical Ticket Scanning Queue window, click New. The Optical Ticket Scanning Entry window is displayed.

  2. Select the patient information.

  3. Click Ok.
