Using the Optical Ticket Scanning Module

You can generate optical tickets as a batch process for all patients with appointments on a particular day. The appropriate ticket prints automatically based on the appointment type.

You can also generate tickets individually for patients who are not scheduled, or when creating narrative input forms.

The Optical Ticket Scanning Queue window lists the patients for whom tickets have been generated but not processed. When a patient is processed and charges have been entered, the patient is automatically removed from the list. This feature enables you to verify that all patients are processed.
