NEA FastAttach Software Integration Module
You can create an NEA attachment for an electronic claim from the Electronic Claims Insurance Queue window, or from the patient’s Insurance Claims for window.
To create an attachment for a claim:
Select the claim in the queue or claims list, right-click, and select Create/Edit Claim Attachment. The Create NEA Attachment for Claim window is displayed with the claim number, center address, the procedure codes that require an attachment, and the type of attachments required.
Under Attachment Details, enter narrative comments to include with the attachments.
Use the Payer Reference # field when the insurance company requires additional information for a claim, and assigns this number to be included when the claim and attachment are resubmitted. This field is only enabled when the claim has been sent.
Use the Available Images section to select images to attach.

For each selected image, use the drop-down lists to select the Type, such as X-Ray or EOB, and Orientation of the image. When X-Ray is selected, the date selection field is enabled; enter the date the image was acquired.
Click Save to save the attachment to batch and send later, or Send to submit the attachment to the NEA FastAttach service.
