Printing Individual Insurance Forms

Insurance forms are printed immediately after entering charges and payments through the Check Out window. They can also be printed by using the Submit option in the Patient Workspace, or they can be batch printed or submitted electronically. To print an individual insurance form:

  1. From the Patient window, select Workspace > Claims. Insurance claims for the patient are displayed.

  1. Select the claim you want to print and click Print. The Print Insurance Form window is displayed.

  2. Change the settings if needed.

  3. To preview the report, select Preview.

  4. To print a hard copy of the report, click Print. A message is displayed, asking if the insurance form printed correctly.

  5. Click Yes to add a bill date to the claim and remove the claim from the list of claims to print.

  6. You must add a bill date if the claim is sent to an insurance company and you want to track the claim on reports.

Click No to leave the claim in the list of claims to print.

  1. You can also view diagnosis codes in this window. Click Details or right-click and select View Details of Selected Claim from the shortcut menu.
