Generating a Narrative Report

To generate a narrative report:

  1. Select Letters > Narrative Merge. The Narrative Merge window is displayed.

  2. Select the patient for whom you are generating a narrative report.

  3. Type a description of the narrative.

  4. Select a narrative report type and click OK. The Narrative Data Entry window is displayed.

  5. The first category is displayed. Select all applicable findings in this category.

  6. Select the next category on the left side of the window, and select the applicable findings. Repeat this step for all categories.

  7. When you have entered all the data, click Print. The narrative is created and displayed in QuickEdit.

  8. Edit the narrative as needed.

  9. Save and close the document.

  10. Exit QuickEdit.
