Creating a New Narrative Report

Before creating a new narrative report, thoroughly plan the structure of the narrative.

Determine the following:

To create a new narrative report:

  1. From the Letters menu, select Narrative Maintenance. The Narrative window is displayed.

  2. Click New. The Create New Narrative window is displayed.

  3. Type a narrative name and click OK. The Narrative Maintenance window is displayed.

  4. In the Category section, click New to add categories and the category characteristics.

  5. In the Findings section, click New to add findings and associated opening and closing text to each category.

  6. Click Opening/Closing Text to add opening and closing text to the narrative report itself.

  7. Click OK.
