Creating Templates

To create a template:

  1. Select Scheduler > Setup Scheduler > Template Setup. The Appointment Template Search window is displayed.

  2. Click New. The Appointment Template Data Entry window is displayed.

  3. In the Template Name field, enter a name.

  4. In the Description field, enter a description of the template.

  5. In the Columns field, select the number of columns needed for the template.

  6. Click in the white area of the window. The specified number of columns is displayed. The software automatically creates a Work-Ins column, enabling you to schedule emergency or unexpected appointments.

Tip

  1. To select Appointment Category Codes, double-click a time slot. The Select Appointment Category for Time Slot window is displayed.

  2. Click and drag categories from the list in the Available Appointment Categories section to the Appointment Categories for This Time Slot section.

  3. Click Ok. Repeat these steps to set the category codes for all time slots.

  4. Click Ok.
