Anesthesia Records > Customizing Anesthesia Records > Configuring the Vital Signs Monitor
The anesthesia records module interfaces with the following monitors:
POET PLUS 8100 vital signs monitor (Criticare Technologies, Inc.)
NGENUITY 8100E(P) patient monitor (Criticare Technologies, Inc.)
506N3 vital signs monitor (Criticare Technologies, Inc.)
507ELC2 Scholar III vital signs monitor (Criticare Technologies, Inc.)
PPM3 (Zoe Medical, Inc., and CAS Medical Technologies, Inc.)
Surveyor (Mortara Instrument)
Mindray cPM 8 patient monitor
The monitor must be configured to communicate with the anesthesia records module. The menu configurations for these monitors differ slightly; however each requires the same settings: Print Device, Serial Format, and Baud Rate. In addition, each vital sign being monitored must be set to ON using the PARAMS menu.
In the Cloud environment, the monitor integration requires that the Virtual Channel with the Anesthesia Record module be installed on the client machine to which the monitor is attached.
