Setting Up the User-Defined Recare System

To set up your User-Defined Recare system:

  1. In the Recare Settings window, type the name of your User-Defined Recare system in the Codes that set the User-Defined Recare System section.

  2. The default name of the User-Defined Recare system is Perio.

  1. Type the number of months between User-Defined recare appointments in the appropriate field.

  1. Select the User-Defined Recare codes from the drop-down lists. You can select up to five codes that trigger a patient recare notice.

  2. To print the recare period and the last exam date on recare postcards and labels, select Show Recare information on Postcards/Labels.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Click Close.

  5. Any patient records added to the software before you set up your recare system have no recare information. Run the Recare Setup/Utility Wizard to update all of your patients with the new codes.
