Using the Electronic Router
The Electronic Router feature is accessible from the InOffice window and the patient chart. The Electronic Router contains patient personal and financial information, which is typically printed on routing slips.
From the Electronic Router window, you can:

Set up or schedule treatment plan procedures

Schedule up to three follow-up appointments

View existing appointments
-
Create history files
From this window, you can also view:Contacts, guarantors, insurance information, financial information, and any patients that are referred by the selected patient.
To use the Electronic Router:

In the InOffice window, select Electronic Router from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.
The Electronic Router window is displayed.

Select an option:

To edit the appointment scheduled for the current day:Select Edit Appointment from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Appointment Card window is displayed. Make the changes and click OK.

To display the guarantor name, chart number, exam history, and the names and ages of other patients on the account:Click the Add'l Info tab.

To schedule a patient for a follow-up appointment:Select Follow Up from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Electronic Router: Follow up 1 window is displayed. Enter the information and click OK. You can enter up to three follow-up appointments for a patient.
To enter another appointment, select Follow Up from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu, and enter the information. The appointment information is saved and the Appointment Card window is displayed.

After all scheduled procedures are performed, select Complete from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.
When Complete is selected:Complete is displayed in red text at the bottom right of the Appointment Card window and in the Code column of the InOffice window to ensure that the front office staff knows that all procedures on the patient’s appointment card were performed.
You cannot edit any appointment card procedures after the status is changed to Complete.

The Complete command is a toggle switch. Select the command again to edit procedures in the Appointment Card window.

Click Close.
