Sending Recare Notices to Patients > Scheduling Recare Appointments
Use Go To Recare Day to schedule a recare appointment for a patient who does not have a recare procedure associated with his patient record.
To use Go To Recare Day:
Select List > Patient. The Patient List window is displayed.
Double-click a patient. The patient record is displayed in the Patient window.
Select Appointments from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Patient Appointments window is displayed.
Select Go To Recare Day from the Options menu. The Go To Recare Day submenu is displayed.

To schedule the patient for a user-defined recare appointment:
If you change the name of your Normal Recare or User-Defined Recare system, the submenu command changes. For example, if the name of your User-Defined Recare system is Ortho, select Go To Recare Day > Ortho.
The Single Day View window is displayed on the appropriate recare day, with the patient appointment tile hovering in the center of the Scheduler.
Select an appointment time on the Scheduler, and click the Plus sign. The Appointment Card window is displayed.
Type the appointment information in the appropriate fields and click Book It!
Search for and select a date and time slot and click Make Appt. A message asking if you want to make the appointment is displayed.
Click Yes. The Appointment Card window is displayed.
Select the recall procedures from the Code drop-down list.
Click OK. The Daily Appointments window is displayed.
Click Close. The Patient Appointments window is displayed. The unconfirmed appointment is displayed in red text.
Select an option:
Select Confirm from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The appointment is confirmed and displayed in black text.
Click Close twice.
If you are using the Motivated Recare system, the Notices field on the Recare tab of the patient record is reset to zero after the patient is checked out on the appointment date for the recare procedure.
