Using Go To Recare Day

Use Go To Recare Day to schedule a recare appointment for a patient who does not have a recare procedure associated with his patient record.

To use Go To Recare Day:

  1. Select List > Patient. The Patient List window is displayed.

  2. Double-click a patient. The patient record is displayed in the Patient window.

  3. Select Appointments from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Patient Appointments window is displayed.

  4. Select Go To Recare Day from the Options menu. The Go To Recare Day submenu is displayed.

  5. Select an option:

  6. To schedule the patient for a normal recare appointment:To schedule the patient for a normal recare appointment:Select Last Exam from the menu.

  7. To schedule the patient for a user-defined recare appointment:To schedule the patient for a user-defined recare appointment:Select Perio from the menu.

  8. To schedule the patient for the next recare appointment:To schedule the patient for the next recare appointment:Select Next from the menu.

The Single Day View window is displayed on the appropriate recare day, with the patient appointment tile hovering in the center of the Scheduler.

  1. Select an appointment time on the Scheduler, and click the Plus sign. The Appointment Card window is displayed.

  2. Type the appointment information in the appropriate fields and click Book It!  

  3. Search for and select a date and time slot and click Make Appt. A message asking if you want to make the appointment is displayed.

  4. Click Yes. The Appointment Card window is displayed.

  5. Select the recall procedures from the Code drop-down list.

  6. Click OK. The Daily Appointments window is displayed.

  7. Click Close. The Patient Appointments window is displayed. The unconfirmed appointment is displayed in red text.

  8. Select an option:

  9. To print the appointment:To print the appointment:Select Print Appointments from the Options menu. The Output Options dialog box is displayed. Select Print and click OK. The Patient Appointments List Report Setup window is displayed. Select Print Next Appointment Only and click OK.

  10. To print an appointment reminder:To print an appointment reminder:Select Print Reminder from the Options menu. The Output Options dialog box is displayed. Select Print and click OK.

  1. Select Confirm from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The appointment is confirmed and displayed in black text.

  2. Click Close twice.

  3. If you are using the Motivated Recare system, the Notices field on the Recare tab of the patient record is reset to zero after the patient is checked out on the appointment date for the recare procedure.
