Use the Scheduler Setup Wizard to design your scheduler to best meet your practice needs.
If you performed a new installation and are accessing the software for the first time, the Startup Preferences window is displayed. If you upgraded the software, the previously active window is displayed.
To open the wizard and initialize the scheduler:
Select Wizards > Scheduler Wizard. The first window of the Scheduler Setup Wizard is displayed.
Read the introduction and click Next. The next wizard window is displayed.
Select Display office codes instead of ADA codes on reports and InOffice to display office codes on reports and in the InOffice window. For more information, see Setting Scheduler Defaults.
Click Next. The next wizard window is displayed.
Select Delete new patients/accounts when appointments are failed to automatically delete a new patient or account if they fail to show up for the first appointment.
Click Next. The next wizard window is displayed.
Select from the following options:
Click Next. A summary of the Scheduler’s new settings is displayed.
Select an option:
A message stating the Scheduler settings have been saved is displayed.
Click OK.
