Tracking Patients in the Office > Handling InOffice Transactions
After follow-up appointments have been entered using the Electronic Router in the operatory, front office staff can post the transactions performed during the visit. If any checkout option is selected, and a follow-up appointment is entered using the Electronic Router, the Setup Auto Scheduling Parameters window is displayed.
To schedule a follow-up appointment, follow these steps:
In the Setup Auto Scheduling Parameters window, specify the search criteria, and click OK. The first available time slot that meets the search criteria is displayed in the Single Day View window.
Select an option:
If more than one follow-up appointment was entered, the Setup Auto-Scheduling Parameters window is displayed. Repeat this step to schedule the appointment.
If a follow-up visit was entered but not scheduled, a message that asks you to add the appointment to the Pending Appointment List is displayed. You must either schedule the appointment or enter it into the Pending Appointment List to exit the Auto-Scheduling window.
Click Close twice.
