Determining a Patient’s Normal Recare Date

The Normal Recare date is calculated by adding the values in the Frequency field and the Last Exam date field in the Patient window.

The recare date is displayed in the Next Recare due on or after: field on the Dates tab and the Next Exam Due field on the patient Appointments and Transactions windows. If no recare interval is set, the default frequency is six months.

• If you change the name of your Normal Recare system, the name of the Last Exam fields and Last Exam section change.

Example:If the name of your Normal Recare system is Recares, the Recares section is displayed on the Recare tab, the Recares date field is displayed on the Dates tab, and the Recare date field is displayed at the bottom of the Patient window.
