Defining KIOSK Messages

You can define the messages that display when your patients attempt to check in on the KIOSK computer.

To define your KIOSK messages:

  1. Select System > Change System Settings > KIOSK Configuration Options > Configure KIOSK workstations. The KIOSK Check-In Module Settings window is displayed with the Welcome Page tab selected.

  2. Click the Result Messages/Options tab.

  3. Use the text boxes and formatting tools to enter the messages you want to display for a failed and a successful check-in attempt.

  4. In the Available KIOSK Input Methods section, select all of the methods by which patients will access the KIOSK computer. The instructions to continue are displayed as follows:

  1. In the Return to Welcome Screen after this many seconds idle field, type the number of seconds the KIOSK can remain idle before the Welcome window is displayed.

  2. This value in this field defaults to 30 seconds and must be at least 10 seconds.

  1. In the KIOSK Shutdown Password field, type the password to shut down the KIOSK station and return control to the operating system.

  2. The default password is "LETMEOUT."
