Confirming Appointments

To confirm a patient appointment:

  1. Select an option:

  2. In the Single Day View or Weekly View windows:In the Single Day View or Weekly View windows:Click the appointment to display the flyout. The patient's contact information is displayed. After confirming the appointment with the patient, click Confirm.

    Tip:
    Use the Confirmation Overlay to help you see which patients still need an appointment confirmation. For more information, see Using the Overlays.

  3. In the Family Appointments window:In the Family Appointments window:Select the appointment to confirm and click Confirm.

  1. If your system is configured for auto-dialing, select the phone number to call, and click Dial.

  2. If your system is not configured for auto-dialing, the numbers are for your reference.

  1. Select APPOINTMENT CONFIRMED.

  2. If the Ask to log contact after confirming appointments option is selected in the Scheduler Settings window, a message that asks you whether to log a contact is displayed. Click Yes, and type a confirmation note in the Note field. Click Close. For more information, see Adding Contacts.
