Using PracticeToGo > Viewing SoftDent Data in Microsoft Outlook

Viewing Rx, Pharmacies, Call Backs, Referring Drs, and Patients

In Microsoft Outlook, your SoftDent prescriptions, pharmacies, call backs, referring doctors, and patients transfer to the Microsoft Outlook Contacts.

TIP:TIP:To easily view prescriptions, pharmacies, call backs, referring doctors, and patients in the Microsoft Outlook software, select to "view by category." In the Contacts list, select View > Arrange By > Current View > By Category.

To view Rx, Pharmacies, Call Backs, Referring Drs, and Patients in Microsoft Outlook:

1. Open the Contacts list.

2. If you have elected to view "by category," the information in the Contacts List is sectioned into categories. The SoftDent categories are called: SD Call Backs, SD Patients, SD Pharmacies, SD Refer Dr, and SD RX.

3. The category is displayed in the list, if an entry or entries for that category have transferred during the data sync.

2. To view the record list in a category, click the plus sign. The list of records that transferred during the data sync is displayed.

3. To open an individual record in a category, select the record, and double-click the entry to open it.
