Using the Tickler

The Tickler is a rescheduling system that can be accessed from all of the scheduler windows.

When you cancel an appointment, you can save the information to the following files until you are ready to reschedule the appointment:

• Tickler

• Short Call

You can also:

• Enter treatment plan appointments

• Send all broken and missed appointment to Tickler file

When you attempt to make an appointment for a patient who has an entry in the Tickler file:When you attempt to make an appointment for a patient who has an entry in the Tickler file:A message that asks whether to display the patient’s Tickler entry is displayed. You can retrieve a previously canceled appointment from the Tickler file.

You can add information to the short call Tickler:You can add information to the short call Tickler:To indicate that a patient is willing to be rescheduled on short notice.
