Tracking Patients in the Office > Handling InOffice Transactions
The Electronic Router feature is accessible from the InOffice window, the Daily Appointments window, and the patient chart. The Electronic Router contains patient personal and financial information, which is typically printed on routing slips.
From the ELECTRONIC ROUTER window, you can:
Set up or schedule treatment plan procedures
Schedule up to three follow-up appointments
View existing appointments
Create history files

To use the Electronic Router:
In the InOffice window, select Electronic Router from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The ELECTRONIC ROUTER window is displayed.
Select an option:

Appointments set up in the ELECTRONIC ROUTER window must be scheduled at the front desk during check out. For more information, see Checking Out Patients.
After all scheduled procedures are performed, select Complete from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.

The Complete command is a toggle switch. Select the command again to edit procedures in the Appointment Card window.
Click Close.
