Placing Treatment Plans in the Tickler

Use the Tickler to store appointment information until it is convenient for you to reschedule it.

You can place treatment plan procedures or groups in the Tickler or Short Call Tickler to enable you to schedule the appointments later. For more information, see Using the Tickler.

To place a treatment group or procedure in the Tickler:

1. Select an option:

• In the Patient List window:Select the patient and select Treatment Plan from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

• In the Patient window:Select Treatment Plan from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

• In the patient Transactions window:Select Treatment Plan from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

• In the InOffice window:Select the patient and select Treatment Plan from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

The Treatment Plan List window is displayed.

2. Select a procedure to place in the Tickler, and select Schedule Appointment from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu. The Treatment Plan Scheduling window is displayed.

3. Click OK.

4. Select Tickler from the Options section of the Express bar or the top of the window. A submenu is displayed.

5. Select an option:

6. To place the treatment group in the Tickler:Select Place In Tickler. A message that informs you that the information is placed in the Tickler is displayed. Click OK.

7. If the patient is willing to take an appointment on short notice:Select Place in Short Call Tickler. A message that informs you that the information is placed in the Short Call Tickler is displayed. Click OK.

6. Click Close twice.
