You can automatically display a HIPAA Privacy compliance notification when patients, who have not been informed of your regulatory compliance, are checked in using the following windows:

Book At A Glance
After informing the patient, you can add the following items:
HIPAA acknowledgement
Consent
Authorization
Disclosure
Complaint contacts
You can enable the HIPAA Privacy feature on computers that are used in public areas to safeguard your patients’ privacy.
When this feature is enabled on a workstation:
Abbreviations are displayed instead of patient names
Patient phone numbers are not displayed in the following windows:
InOffice
Daily Appointments
Book At A Glance
History Appointments
Patient phone numbers are not printed on the Daily Operatory report
You can use HIPAA Security features to help you comply with HIPAA security requirements and ensure that the data maintained in the database is protected.
HIPAA security settings also enable you to:
Enforce user name and password usage
Track the activity of each user
Automatically log out of the software when each workstation is inactive for a specified time
