Running the Tickler File Report

The Tickler File report lists patients in the tickler file based on the selection criteria. It includes patient name, phone numbers, the original appointment date, and the date the patient was last contacted. It also shows the reason the patient is in the tickler file, and appointment information such as production codes, number of time units, the provider for the service, and the expected appointment fees.

Sample Report

To run the Tickler File report:

  1. Select Reports > Recall/Appt > Tickler File. The Output Options window is displayed.

  2. Select an output and click OK. The Tickler Report Setup window is displayed.

  3. In the Dates section, click the drop-down arrows to select the Start and Stop dates from a calendar.

  4. In the Provider Entries section, do the following:

  5. Click the drop-down arrow to select the provider from a list, or leave 999 to report on all providers.

  6. Type an appointment length, or leave 0 to report on appointments of any length.

  1. In the Options section, click the checkboxes for the types of appointments you want to include on the report.

  2. If you selected the Merge Letter Expert output option, the Letter Expert Template ID field is active. Click the drop-down arrow to select a template from the list.

  3. Click OK.
