Patient and Doctor Referrals > Running Referral Reports
The Referral Source Analysis report displays the number of patients—and their production amounts—who have visited your office in the specified time periods by each referring doctor, grouped by categories that you create.
You must set up referral categories to use this report properly. For more information, see Creating Referral Categories.
To run the Referral Source Analysis report:
Select Reports > Practice Management > Referral Reports > Referral Source Analysis. The Output Options window is displayed.
Select the output and click OK. The Referral Source Analysis Report Setup window is displayed.
In the Options section, de-select Include Patient Referrals if you do not want to include patients who referred other patients in the report.
If included in the report, patient referrals have a category of 0.
In the Date Ranges section, click the drop-down arrows to select the starting and ending patient visit dates from a calendar.
In the Include Analysis for Provider(s) section, click the drop-down arrow to select specific providers from a list, or leave 999 to report on all providers.
Click OK.
