Printing Charts

On the Restorative tab, you can print the initial, current, or treatment plan chart. You can also print treatment plan information, exam information, and clinical notes with the chart. Charts print on standard 8.5” x 11” paper on a variety of laser and inkjet printers and can be printed in color.

• To print a chart, a printer must be set up. To set up your printer, select File > Print Setup. The Print Setup window is displayed. Select the printer options and click OK.

To print the chart:

1. On the Restorative tab, select a chart (initial, current, or treatment plan), and select File > Print or click Print in the Main Charting toolbar. The Printing Information window is displayed.

2. Select an option:

To print the group number, date planned, planning doctor, procedure code and description, tooth/surface, estimated patient and insurance payments, and acceptance status associated with the treatment plan beneath the patient chart for both primary and secondary treatment plans:Select Treatment Plans. Select the appropriate checkboxes to customize the treatment plan information.

4. To print information, including comments from the Soft Tissue exam and PSR data for exam histories beneath the patient chart:Select Exams.

5. To print the note creation date, patient and doctor identification numbers, procedure code, tooth and surface, note reference and text, and whether the note is associated with a treatment plan beneath the patient chart:Select Clinical Notes.

6. To only print the chart:Select None.

3. Click OK. The Print window is displayed.

4. Select the printer and the number of copies to print.

5. Click OK.
