Printing Laser Labels

When you print labels and select the Laser Label File option, the labels are sent to a file where they are stored until you are ready to print them. This is useful when you are creating a few labels at a time and you want to wait until you have a complete sheet (30 labels) before you print them.

To print laser labels:

  1. Select Reports > Patient > Labels > Alphabetical. The Output Options window is displayed.

  2. Select Laser Label File and click OK. The Patient Label Setup window is displayed.

  3. Select the criteria for the labels, and click OK.

  4. Select Reports > Print Laser Labels. The Laser Labels window is displayed.

  5. Select an option:

  6. To print a specific label type:To print a specific label type:Select the checkbox next to the type of labels you want to print (Patient Labels in this example), and click Print Selected on the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.

  7. To print all label types on the same page:To print all label types on the same page:Select the checkboxes next to the types of labels you want to print, and click Print All on the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.

  1. A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes. The Print window is displayed.

  2. Verify the selected printer and click OK. A message is displayed, asking if the labels should be cleared. Verify that the labels have printed correctly and click Yes.

TIP:TIP:To increase the horizontal or vertical offsets, click Settings and type the values, in inches, in the fields.
